This Built Environment Apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to understand, appreciate and begin your career in a Technical Construction role. You need to be prepared to learn and empathise with the mechanics of working in the industry to be successful in your role. It is important that you understand and appreciate the expectations of working in a construction environment and that you are prepared to adopt the business etiquette, values and culture of the organisation. 

This opportunity requires you to be part of a team, to demonstrate self-discipline and be able to receive and follow instructions accurately and methodically. You will report to the Procurement Manager and be expected to work to targets and deadlines. This is a central role working alongside procurement colleagues within the group, offering a truly exciting role to begin a career within Construction and our Organisation. 

Responsibilities: 
- Produce purchase orders based on information received in site requisitions ensuring compliance with relevant specification standards; 
- Progress chase material deliveries when necessary; 
- Check supplier invoices are correctly calculated in line with purchase orders and goods received paperwork; 
- Code purchase orders and invoices; 
- Manage small tender/quotation processes under the supervision of the Procurement Manager; 
- Assist in reporting of project costs and supplier performance; 
- Attend supplier evaluation meetings and follow up on actions required to improve relationships.
