Working under the direction and guidance of an experienced tradesperson to become proficient in building drylining systems and gain the relevant qualifications to meet the guidelines and achieve the Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard.

Assist mentor in constructing drylining (walls) and suspended ceilings and other general duties. Ensure all tasks on site are carried out in line with manufacturers’ specifications, architects’ drawings, Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

As this is an apprenticeship role, a key requirement is that you attend college on a day release basis and complete all course work / work based assignments and assessments in the workplace. To this end you will be enrolled at a college and you will study for L2 Construction Specialist – (Interior Systems) Apprenticeship Framework which incorporates:
• Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Interior Systems (Construction); and
• Level 2 Diploma in Dry Lining.
