This Apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to learn your trade and obtain a real appreciation of working on site in a commercial construction environment. 

You need to be prepared to travel and possibly lodge at premises throughout the UK. 

Follow instructions to learn skills, working on site, to given specifications, carrying out site carpentry to first and second fixing (door frames, hanging doors, boxing pipes, window frames and floor joists) including fitting doors, frames, skirting and architrave. 

• Assist mentor in completing various carpentry and joinery tasks (including fitting doors, frames, skirting and architrave) and other general duties. 
• Ensuring all tasks on site are carried out in line with manufacturers’ specifications, architects’ drawings, Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. 
• As this is an apprenticeship role, a key requirement is that you attend college on a day release basis and complete all course work/work based assignments and assessments in the workplace. To this end you will be enrolled at a local College to site and you will study for L2 Construction Building – (Wood Occupations)
