Fire Stopping Engineers

We have a number of openings for fire stopping engineers across the country to help deliver our growing portfolio of fire safety works. Working in partnership with our sister company Horbury Building Systems we have several, long term, new build sites ready to start along with a number of occupied buildings for various clients.

As a Firestopping Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Installing fire stopping and associated passive fire safety installations within a new and occupied building environment
  • Recording all works on our bespoke electronic reporting system
  • Ensuring all works meet current regulations and guidelines along with adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all work is carried our inline with our H&S management system.

The Person:

  • You should be a pro-active, conscientious individual with high standards of quality and presentation
  • You will have a good level of experience within the passive fire market having worked under and complied with FIRAS, LPCB or similar 3rd part acreditation services.
  • You will be able to work under your own supervision and cohesively on site with other trades.
  • You will be able a good problem solver  and be able to use your own initiative to complete installations succefully and to the agreed standards

Salary: Hourly Rate and Bonus

Package: Mobile Phone, Uniform, Power Tools, Bonus Scheme, Pension and Possibility of a company vehicle, training and progression.
