Apprentice Success

Recently, Horbury Building Systems apprentice Jack Syddall won the Gold Medal in his discipline of Plastering and Drywall Systems and will now represent Team GB in the World Skills Final being held in Moscow in 2018.

Since then Jack was nominated to enter the Apprentice of the Year Category in the President’s Awards for The FIS (Finishes and Interior Sector). www.thefis.org

The award ceremony took place in London this week and we are pleased to announce Jack won the award!

This is another fantastic accolade for Jack and for the Company.  Congratulations go to Jack and to Steve Coward and the wider management team that have supported our apprenticeship programme.

"What we are achieving with our Apprenticeship Scheme is Industry leading and sets us apart from the majority of our competition and is something we should all be proud of" - Trevor Wragg
