Assistant Business Development Manager

Titan Interior Solutions are looking to expand their Business Development team in the Flooring Department and are looking to recruit a keen and driven individual to supplement their growing client base. Part of the larger Horbury Group and based in Rotherham, Titan is a national contractor delivering soft flooring, ceilings and partitions to main contractors for major construction developments nationwide. Previous works include hospitals, student accommodations, office space and large residential projects.

Reporting to (title):             Luke Gledhill

Normal Place of Work:       Head Office

Normal Hours of Work:      0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday

Purpose of the Role (Overview):

Initially working with the Business Development Managers to tender flooring quotations and research further sales, eventually securing their own contracts with national contractors, working closely with the Project Managers and suppliers to coordinate projects through to completion.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use IT software and in-house databases to seek and secure pricing opportunities.
  • Converse with and form relationships with our many flooring suppliers.
  • Use our on-screen software and work with Business Development Managers to deliver robust, thorough soft flooring quotations, with a view to translating into sales and securing projects.
  • Liaise with our commercial team to help maintain budgets and expand profits.
  • Work with Project Managers and suppliers to purchase materials and co-ordinate the package to completion.
  • Help maintain relationships with current clients and seek sales opportunities with new customers to expand our client base.

Qualifications Required: 


  • Educated to graduate level, minimum 2:1 or expected 2:1.
  • Have achieved A-C grade in GCSE’s Maths and English.


Skills Required:

Have good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.  Titan Interiors use On-Screen Take-Off software, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.                                                                                                                                 

Competencies / Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working with customer service/sales is an advantage.
  • Have full UK driving license.
