2024 CN Awards Winners!

 Last night, the Horbury Group won the Construction News Award for Training Excellence at the 2024 CN Awards held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London! 

This award recognises our commitment to nurturing talent and supporting our employees' professional growth through our 'Planning for the Future' initiative.

The 'Planning for the Future' programme goes beyond traditional skills training to help our staff reach their full potential. It focuses on key capabilities for success, offering leadership development, coaching, mentoring, and opportunities to lead impactful change projects. One of the judges remarked, “Horbury has set up the business for everyone to see their pathways to progression.”

This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the support and mentoring from the Senior Management Team, Directors, and Nikki Hawthorn FCIPD. Thanks to their dedication, a third of our participants have already been promoted to new roles within the company.

Winning this award underscores our commitment to excellence in training and development. It’s a recognition of our collective efforts to build a brighter future for both our employees and our industry.
