Our apprentices played a huge part in our “show and tell”. The stand was organised by Lewis Taylor and manned by Harry Giblin, Jack Riley, Alex Tomlinson and James Bentham. Support was given behind the scenes by Rory Hutton, Emily Kerr, Mason Hudson and Georgia Morris.
A surprising feature of the day was the large number of girls who wanted to try drylining. We had quite a queue at times. Maybe we will have some female trade apprentices in the years to come.
Trevor Wragg visited the event and commented:
“Great effort today, we definitely had the best stand (obviously excluding Mclaren!). Well done to all involved, you should all be very proud of the whole apprenticeship initiative. We are genuinely giving young people the opportunities to develop successful careers that can be life changing.”
