The Wells Wing, Epsom Hospital

The Horbury Group carried out the EWI works package to The Wells Wing, Epsom Hospital, on behalf of our client Breathe.

The package involved several external wall insulated render systems applied to the existing superstructure. The scheme also included new cills to existing windows and copings to the L2 podium.

All of the works were carried out during occupation of the hospital, where we successfully worked together with our client to satisfy the NHS’s requirements at all times from establishing scheduled drilling times, facilitating the hospital loading and deliveries and safely carrying out the works whilst interfacing with patients.

We also successfully continued to work safely throughout the pandemic which was a great success and is a huge testament to all staff involved.
